About Us We offer a complete kitchen service from design to purchase and final installation (Installation offered in Wiltshire, Hampshire and Berkshire areas only). Installations are charged separately to kitchen purchases
We accept credit card payment from UK resident customers only via PayPal, a secure payment service provider. We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard, Delta, Solo and Switch (please DO NOT post credit card information or send via email). When you make a purchase from our site you will receive a payment confirmation email (receipt) for your order. You will also receive a receipt from us when the goods are delivered. Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Proceed to Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling At M W Duckett you are assured of great savings on any kitchen item, however to avoid minimum transaction amounts we do have to make a small charge for handling & delivery. All items are delivered to UK addresses by courier. For complete kitchens and units we will contact you prior to delivery to arrange a convenient time.
For all orders under £1000.00 a £60.00 delivery charge will be added. All orders above £1000.00 delivery is free.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Delivery Schedule We usually despatch our orders within 7-14 working days. However, we ask that you please allow up to 28 days for complete kitchens. If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Credit Card Security Credit card payments will be processed by PayPal, a leading payment service provider (PSP), using their own secure server. You will be routed to the Paypal secure server when you are ready to supply your payment information. No credit card information will be received or stored on our site so you can shop safely and securely.
Reaching Us We will meet all of our obligations under the consumer protection laws currently in force. Privacy Policy M W Duckett do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Returns Policy If you wish to return an item that you have ordered then you must contact us within 7 days from receipt of delivery. You can contact us by email, telephone. We will then issue you with a return's number, which will need to be clearly marked on the package. All items must be returned in 'as received' condition in their original packing.
Faulty / Damaged Items
If the items are being returned because they are faulty or damaged then we will supply a replacement and collect the faulty / damaged item. Please inspect all items carefully before commencing fitting. Items which have been fitted or machined cannot be returned as faulty / damaged.
In-correctly ordered goods
If you wish to return in-correctly ordered goods there is a re-stocking surchage of 25% of the goods value. The goods must be in pristine condition, in their original packaging and returned with an insured delivery service. Any refund due (less any surcharge payable will be actioned within 5 days of receipt of the goods. This may take up to 30 days to appear on your credit card statement.
